Experience a stunning bijoux cottage located in the heart of the picturesque estuary town of Topsham, Devon. Nestled in a prime location, Topsham offers an array of fabulous dining options and artisan shops, perfect for exploring during your staycation. The surrounding area is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, with spectacular walking and cycling trails, a quaint train station providing access to the nearby Cathedral city of Exeter and the beaches of Exmouth.
This tastefully decorated cottage offers a cozy retreat for those chilly winter nights, with a lovely wood burner to toast your toes. Enjoy alfresco dining or simply relax with a glass of wine on the very private patio area.
The property features an open plan lounge, complete with a dining table and chairs for 4, a large armchair, a smart TV with a full Virgin media package, and sumptuous furry blankets for colder evenings in. The semi-open plan shaker style kitchen is well-equipped for the home cook, with everything tastefully acquired to suit everybody's needs.
The winding staircase leads to the first floor landing, featuring a double bedroom with a king-size bed, bedside tables with lamps, a chest of drawers, a small walk-in wardrobe space, a mirror, and a hairdryer. The bathroom provides a fantastic over-the-bath shower, a large round sink, a WC, and a mirror.
Up another narrow staircase, the beautiful open-plan room boasts dual aspect windows, a king-size bed (which can be split into 2 singles on request), bedside tables with lamps, a small wardrobe and drawer unit, a full-sized mirror, a little stool, and another hairdryer.

Please note that there is no parking at the property, but there are numerous car parks close by that can be booked using the ringo app, and they are all free after 5 pm until 9 am. Additionally, the property is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or children under the age of 10 due to the nature of the stairs. Smoking, candles, pets, events, or parties are not permitted, and guests are requested to keep noise to a minimum due to the peaceful neighbourhood.
Don't forget to check out Route 2 for bike hire and the fantastic outdoor heated Lido just off the High St for a morning or afternoon dip. You can also take a lovely little ferry that will take you down the estuary, dropping you off at the amazing Turf Locks where you can enjoy some amazing home-cooked food and take in the spectacular views, and even spot some seals basking in the sunshine.
